You will join the Data Trust Capability in Capgemini’s Insights and Data (I&D) business unit. Insights and Data is a global business unit covering Enterprise Data Management, Cloud Platforms, Enterprise Content Management and AI & Analytics.

The Focus of Your Role
We are seeking a senior Data Management Lead who will be responsible for defining and implementing enterprise‑wide data governance, quality and management strategies and systems. This role oversees data lifecycle processes, ensures data integrity, and partners with business and technology teams to drive data‑enabled decision‑making.
The Data Management Lead Will Be Responsible For
* Leading large‑scale data management implementations.
* Leading geographically distributed teams independently.
* Driving business growth and innovation.
* Recruiting and managing staff.
* Establishing, implementing and maintaining data governance frameworks, policies and standards.
* Leading data quality initiatives to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency across systems.
* Defining and implementing master and reference data processes and supporting metadata management.
* Collaborating with business stakeholders to define data requirements and priorities.
* Providing leadership and direction to data stewards and analysts.
* Overseeing data lineage, cataloging and classification activities.
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory, security and privacy obligations related to data.
* Supporting data architecture and integration initiatives.
* Monitoring key performance indicators on data quality and governance performance.
What You'll Bring
* 15+ years of extensive experience working with C‑suite executives and senior leaders across diverse industries.
* Engagement with business units, enabling and corporate functions to drive a culture of data management excellence.
* Leadership of pre‑sales solutions responding to new customer demand and supporting business development.
* Innovation in cutting‑edge concepts and creation of new assets.
* Management of multicultural, large teams spanning multiple data management disciplines.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and experience as a people manager.
* Use of AI tools to accelerate data governance outcomes, manage processes and assure AI validity.
* Proven leadership in managing large, distributed teams in global delivery environments involving multiple stakeholders.
* Track record of delivering complex data management transformation programmes.
* Strong data domain knowledge across key areas such as Customer, Product, Vendor and Asset, and familiarity with DAMA principles.
* Deep understanding of data lifecycle management and enterprise data practices.
* Experience with data management tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Reltio, IBM, Atacama).
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR and data privacy standards.
Preferred Qualifications
* Background in cloud data management platforms such as Informatica, Reltio, Semarchy, Azure, AWS or GCP.
* Knowledge of data modelling and architecture methodologies.
* Experience leading cross‑functional data programmes.

Additional Info
Security Clearance: Successful appointment requires eligibility to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance, with continuous residence in the UK for the last 5 years and other criteria. Some posts are restricted to UK nationals for security reasons. Hybrid working is expected; you will work from a mixture of company offices, client sites and home, but will not be able to work from home 100% of the time. Pre‑employment checks include identity, nationality or immigration status, employment history, and unspent criminal record checks.
