Job Purpose:
Ulster University has partnered with University College London to establish a Centre for Doctoral Training in Digital Health Technologies (tech4health), funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). The £11.7m Centre aims to recruit 75 PhD researchers, training the next generation of digital health researchers and innovators to develop advanced digital health technologies. Hosted across Ulster University and UCL, the centre provides specialized training for researchers and innovators in the digital health ecosystem, focusing on community-acute care (home-hospital).
The Business Development Officer will manage collaborations and build relationships with internal and external partners of the CDT. The role involves working closely with the Centre Management Team, acting as the first point of contact for industrial, clinical, government, and charity partners, and coordinating secondments and partnerships for CDT PhD researchers. The ideal candidate will be innovative, digitally skilled, highly organized, and capable of developing and executing strategic and operational plans with attention to detail.
