Job Description
- Develop and execute business strategies to achieve short-term and long-term objectives, including planning for modern trade channels and identifying new business opportunities.
- Enhance sales team efficiency through effective utilization of sales enablers and provide on-the-job training to field sales teams.
- Manage distribution and sales operations, establishing well-defined processes for distributor/sub-distributor appointment and ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Handle sales to modern trade retail accounts and direct cash and carry accounts, negotiating and generating purchase orders and ensuring timely servicing.
- Ensure 100% fill rates to modern trade & GT accounts through effective stock management and forecasting.
- Manage local key account listings, monthly promotions, and trade activations, including merchandising activities and product launches.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity, providing insights to inform business decisions.
- Foster strong relationships with trade partners and guide the sales team to develop high levels of engagement and collaboration.
The Successful Applicant
3. 5-10 years experience of FMCG Food sales in the Eastern Market
4. A Master's degree in Sales & Marketing is necessary
5. A track record of managing sales in GT & MT
6. Preferred/current location to be Guwahati
