Pertemps are currently recruiting for an Transport Administrator to join a logistics company based in Eastleigh. This is a Permanent position.
Responsibilities for this Transport Administrator role:
1. Plan and execute collection and delivery schedules via the most cost-efficient means
2. Utilise IT systems and vehicles fully to ensure accurate allocation of drivers
3. Communicate plans to internal and external customers
4. Maintain sufficient staffing levels, including agency staff, to meet or exceed customer requirements
5. Manage driver hours by authorising weekly timesheets, auditing, and updating hours in relevant systems to ensure compliance with regulations
6. Communicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders
7. Ensure smooth and efficient service delivery including, load sheets for the warehouse, handovers, vehicle maintenance schedules, and operational delays
Requirements for this Transport Administrator role:
8. Being familiar with Stirling, Contrado systems will be advantageous
9. Experience of working within a similar role
10. Ability to work under pressure
11. Highly organised

12. This is a permanent position
13. Monday - Friday working 10-8pm
14. £30K + £10 per day shift allowance
