Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This is a permanent job role, so please only apply if you are looking for long term employment.

Duties

* Greet and welcome visitors in a courteous manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
* Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, managing and answering enquiries all in a timely manner.
* Manage patient appointment scheduling, processing payments, responding to emails.
* Managing patient's accounts, handling cash and card payments, finding and rectifying account errors, cashing up shifts.
* Explaining care plans and discussing financial options with patients.
* Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date.
* Handle clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents as needed.
* Use of Microsoft Office, Google Drive and company software for various administrative tasks.
* Maintain a tidy front desk area, ensuring rooms are prepared for appointments. opening and closing the clinic and shifts.
* Answering patients' queries relating to Chiropractic care, assisting patients during their visit, ensuring that they feel comfortable and informing during their time here.
* Assisting with marketing and promotions within clinic.
* Commitment to learning about Chiropractic care, holistic wellness and a healthy lifestyle and sharing this with patients.
* Creating an upbeat and welcoming environment for all. Demonstrate flexibility and enthusiasm & working in a team.

Requirements

* Previous office experience is essential, with a strong background in administrative roles preferred.
* Proficient computer skills, including typing speed and accuracy.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications as well as social media applications.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
* Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
* Attention to detail in all aspects of work, particularly in data entry, finances and documentation.
* Compassionate attitude towards patient care and a commitment to enhancing their experience at our practice.
* Commitment to learning about Chiropractic care, holistic wellness and a healthy lifestyle.

Additional info:

We are happy to discuss the hours with you in person, we are looking for someone to have a set number of hour per week as a minimum, with flexibility to up these hours to cover holidays when staff members are away.

You will be asked to attend conferences, shows, meetings and training sessions as required by the company, this will include some evening and weekends.

Clinic Opening Hours:

Monday 7:00am - 6:30pm

Tuesday 7:30am – 12:30pm

Wednesday 7:00am - 6:30pm

Thursday 7:00am - 6:30pm

Every other Saturday: 7:15 - 11am

Pay: From £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 38 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

* Harrogate HG1 1HB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
