Mental Health Practitioner – CAMHS Crisis Location: Oxford (NHS) Contract: Full-time, Monday to Sunday (Flexible Rota) Pay Rate: £27 Ltd / £21.71 PAYE (excluding holiday pay) Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mental Health Practitioner to join a CAMHS Crisis Team on behalf of one of our NHS clients based in Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified mental health professional with experience in urgent assessments and crisis intervention for children and adolescents. Key Responsibilities Conduct urgent assessments of children and young people presenting with high-risk mental health concerns Deliver crisis intervention and short-term support to service users and their families Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and external agencies Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with NHS standards Participate in risk assessments and contribute to safety planningRequirements Professional qualification and current registration in one of the following: Social Work (SWE) Mental Health Nursing (NMC) Occupational Therapy (HCPC) Experience in risk assessment and management across various settings Proven experience working with children and young people with complex mental health needs, or within child protection, abuse, and parenting services Previous experience in a CAMHS Crisis setting, including urgent assessments of high-risk presentations Why Choose Service Care Solutions?
