A well-established firm of Chartered Accountants is seeking an experienced Payroll Senior to join its team. This is a key role handling some of the firms largest payrolls, with flexible hours and remote working available.
The Role
Working within a payroll team of 34, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of payroll clients, including several cleintswith 100+ employees. Acting as the go-to person for payroll matters, they will ensure clients receive a professional and accurate service at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing weekly and monthly payrolls
* Managing payrolls with 100+ employees
* Handling statutory payments including maternity, paternity, sick pay and pensions auto-enrolment
* Resolving payroll queries and providing client support
* Overseeing compliance with HMRC legislation and RTI submissions
* Working with Sage Payroll
* Collaborating as part of a supportive payroll team and liaising with managers and clients
The Candidate
1. Previous payroll experience, ideally within an accountancy practice or industry
2. Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, pensions, and statutory payments
