Job Description
3. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Finance department.
4. Prepare month end management accounts
5. Balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
6. Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
7. Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making within the business.
8. Monitor budgets and forecasts to ensure effective cost management.
9. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies.
10. Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to support financial audits.
11. Develop and implement efficient financial processes and controls.
12. Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve departmental goals.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Manager should have:
13. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA), qualified by experience will be considered.
14. Experience in managing a small finance team
15. Experience in financial reporting and analysis within an SME.
16. Knowledge of UK tax regulations and compliance standards.
17. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
18. The ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
19. An eye for detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.
