Within the Fexco Group, the UK Retail Foreign Exchange (RFX) Division is one of the UK’s largest independent providers of foreign exchange services. CEC Ltd delivers accessible, customer-focused travel money services through a network of 64 own retail locations and 170 agents across the UK. Our services are delivered under several trusted retail brands, including the well-known No1 Currency, which is recognised for its strong presence and reputation in the travel money market.
In February 2026 RFX integrated the Sainsburys Travel money Business into its network, allowing many more customers to benefit from the great rates and fantastic service that we offer.
We are now seeking a graduate level Payroll Administratorto join us on a full-time, initially 6 month fixed term basis. This role is based in our London Hammersmith office 3 days per week with the option to work from home 2 days per week.

Job Purpose
The Payroll Graduate will support the Payroll Manager in ensuring the smooth, accurate and compliant operation across a high-volume retail workforce. The role works closely with the outsourced payroll provider to process a 4-weekly payroll for both salaried and hourly-paid employees, ensuring all variable pay components are captured and processed correctly.
The Payroll Graduate will use their strong data admin and excel skills to facilitate the link between HR, Finance, and the payroll provider, ensuring accuracy in all pay-related data.
Main Responsibilities
* Assist with end-to-end processing of monthly and 4 weekly payrolls, including data entry for hours worked, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
* Update records for new starters and leavers, contractual changes, and absences.
* Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries regarding payslips, tax codes, and pension deductions
* Maintain data integrity across HRIS and time & attendance systems
* Conduct regular checks for timesheet anomalies, duplicated hours, attendance gaps or NMW risks.
* Assist with internal and external payroll audits, financial reporting and statutory returns.
* Help prepare files for RTI (Real Time Information) submissions to HMRC and generate month-end/year-end reports like P45s and P60s.
* Support the management of company benefits, such as pension schemes, health insurance, and salary sacrifice programmes.
* Produce payroll-related reports for HR and Finance as required.
Qualifications / Experience Required
Essential Experience
* A degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, dashboards) is essential.
* High levels of numerical accuracy and the ability to maintain confidentiality are critical.
Desirable
* Experience using HRIS and T&A systems; experience with HiBob or UKG is beneficial.
* Strong numerical ability and confidence reviewing large volumes of data.
* Experience managing 4-weekly payroll cycles.
* Experience supporting payroll audits or compliance checks.

* High attention to detail and accuracy, especially when working with large datasets.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to meet strict cut-off deadlines.
* Confident operating in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment.
