Position Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly‑motivated Nursing Associate to join our friendly, supportive and exciting family team on Ward F12. The post holder will work as part of a team to provide a safe, effective, and efficient care environment for patients, relatives, and carers.
The role involves the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care under indirect supervision from senior staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan the delivery of patient care and take responsibility for implementing and evaluating that care, using an appropriate nursing model.
* Provide advice and education to patients, staff and learners within the directorate as required, and develop communication networks across specialities and throughout the multidisciplinary team.
* Prioritise own workload and that of learners and Healthcare Assistants.
* Carry out nursing care to the highest possible standard according to Trust Policies and Practice and Clinical Guidelines, including infection control, hygiene and individualised patient needs.
