Key Responsibilities

Deliver a broad and inclusive music curriculum across KS3 and KS4—with A-Level delivery considered for experienced candidates
*
Lead ensembles including band, choir, samba group, or student-led orchestras
*
Integrate music technology into lessons—DAWs (such as GarageBand, Logic), live recording and mixing
*
Prepare and manage major performance events—concerts, productions, festivals—locally and regionally
*
Engage with music outreach by collaborating with local primary schools, community choirs, or performance venues
The Ideal Candidate
*
Holds a Music degree and Qualified Teacher Status
*
Competent in one or more instruments and passionate about ensemble or solo performance
*
Knowledgeable in music technology and confident using it in the classroom
*
Creative, confident leader capable of managing multi-year performance and production projects

Equipped with multiple rehearsal spaces, keyboards, percussion, and recording suite

Strong peripatetic support available; partnerships with local music academies
