Position Summary
The Student Media Manager In Training learns the Student Media Manager position by shadowing them as they support the Leadership team in creating content for internal and external audiences through social media, webpage, newsletter, online and residential, and other publications. Position requires leadership qualities and the ability to multitask multiple projects. Great attention to detail is also needed to ensure that events and other initiatives are successfully created and implemented. The Student Media Manager will coordinate the planning of multiple events, classes, and workshops, while also making decisions that promote the understanding of the Collaboratory to multiple audiences. This is a unique position that requires a willingness to learn and grow and has a critical role in recruitment and relationship building.

Special Working Conditions
Preference will be given to highly creative students that are available for Tuesday and/or Thursday Collaboratory Project class time immediately following chapel.
Required Primary Duties
* Manage Collaboratory social media sites including the capturing of photographs, videos, and other online content.
* Assist with content for Collaboratory webpage
* Build and lead a team of volunteers to assist with creating content for the Newsletter and other publications.
* Find creative ways to engage and recruit non-IPC and non-engineering volunteers for project teams.
* Assist Collaboratory Leadership teams with hosting of on-campus and online events
* Attend student advisory board meetings as representative of non-engineering majors
* Find new ways and news audiences to tell the story of the Collaboratory on campus and online.
* Assist the Student Director with planning and executing the fall Leaders Workshop and discipleship community
* Assist Program Manager or Collaboratory Director with selected projects.
* Assist with management of CRM, data and statistics.
* Manage and inspire others to do their best
* Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
