About The Role. Day Shift and Night Shift available working 3 on 3 off rotation.
Responsibilities
* Plan and implement the kind of care that gives residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence.
* Know residents and their families to deliver truly personalised care plans.
* Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain the highest standards of care, influencing the rest of the team.
* Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager; provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities; administer medication where appropriate.
* Maintain accurate records of your work and build strong relationships with the team.
* Ensure compassionate communication with residents and co-workers, supporting the team with kindness as a core value.
Qualifications and requirements
* Ideally, Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care (S/NVQ) and prepared to work towards Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
* Background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
* Strong record-keeping skills and effective time management.
* Brilliant positive energy and ability to get along with people; genuine kindness in interactions with residents and colleagues.
