Hospital Administrator | Ward | Part-Time, Permanent |Hove | Competitive salary plus fantastic benefits

The Montefiore Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and adaptable Administrator to join our team in the ward on a part-time and Permanent basis.

The Montefiore Hospital is a premium provider of private healthcare in Hove- East Sussex. We practice some of the most advanced treatments with the latest generation imaging and diagnostic technology. This means we can offer everything from screening, rehabilitation and cutting-edge surgical procedures across a variety of specialist treatments which are all delivered through our expert and caring clinical teams

*This is a 22.5 hour per week post, working 3 days per week

Duties and responsibilities:

1. Welcoming patients onto the ward and escorting to their room.
2. Admitting them in the computer ensuring accurate collection data
3. Acting as point person for all enquiries on the ward
4. Carrying out various admin task, including filling of patient notes
5. Compliance with forms and processes.
6. Discharge of patients onto computer system ensuring accuracy of all information.
7. Manage the hospital switchboard in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring all calls or enquiries are responded to in a timely manner.
8. Undertake various clerical duties including checking of bed status reports, ordering and distribution of newspapers

Who we're looking for:

9. A personable individual with the ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
10. Good basic PC skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook
11. Excellent customer service skills
12. Great communication skills at all levels
13. Experience in a customer service environment is desirable
14. Previous experience in administration is essential
15. Attention to detail
