Our client is seeking a dynamic Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with active DV or eDV clearance to lead strategic digital transformation initiatives. This is a permanent leadership role offering the opportunity to drive innovation in defence technology and enhance national security capabilities.
Role Summary
As the Chief Technology Officer, you will be responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the Digital Strategy and Defence Digital objectives. You will be at the forefront of integrating advanced technologies into systems, overseeing digital platforms, data analytics, and infrastructure enhancements in sensitive environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a technology roadmap in line with the companies objectives and NCSC guidelines.
* Drive the adoption of emerging technologies and secure systems.
* Lead digital transformation projects, ensuring the integration of agile methodologies and secure-by-design principles.
* Collaborate with stakeholders, primes, and external partners to drive technology innovation.
* Manage technology risk assessments, vendor partnerships, and budget allocation for IT infrastructure.
* Brief senior executives on tech trends and opportunities.
* Foster a culture of innovation and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Active DV or eDV clearance is essential.
* 10+ years of experience in senior technology leadership within defence, intelligence, or HMG environments.
* Proven track record in digital transformation and technology strategy.
* Strong knowledge of Government frameworks and professional certifications are highly desirable.
Desirable Skills & Experience
* Experience briefing military leadership and senior executives.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
