About The Role We are excited to share an opportunity to join the Evidence Islington team as an Apprentice Events Assistant. In this role you will support engagement activities with residents and voluntary and community organisations. Evidence Islington is committed to working in partnership with the local community to better understand the issues affecting the health and well-being of residents and explore potential strategies to address this. As an Apprentice Events Assistant you will: Assist in the planning and preparation of events of all sizes Provide onsite assistance, organisation, and communications Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders Respond to the needs of the community We are looking for someone with enthusiasm eager to learn and grow in the role. The ideal candidate will be: A good communicator Able to manage your time effectively Curious and aware of the needs of others Able to remain calm in challenging situations In return, you will be supported to develop the skills and experience needed to obtain a Level 3 qualification. You will work in a varied and interesting role which will contribute towards improving understanding about key health and wellbeing issues affecting Islington residents. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed and be required to complete a short task. Candidates will also be required to complete a course suitability assessment by the training provider.
