Customs clearance Coordinator for (mon-fri ) required for a Freight forwarder based in the Liverpool area. This company has its own customs clearance department and they offer brilliant training with customs clearance. This post is allocated to key accounts within the freight forwarder
The role:
This Customs coordinator will be part of the Customs team and will be on the day shift team working Mon-Fri. Customs Coordinator role will include a range of duties including:
* Assist the Customs manager in the execution of their duties to support the Head of Customs compliance a
* Understand and execute the departments vision of good business development in order to successfully move Customs products
* Complete all Customs Import activities correctly and on time including financial, legal and invoicing transaction for Key Account traffic
* Correctly complete all customs import CDS declarations in line with UK HMRC regulations for the Key account processes
* Ensure all operational activities are completed on time
* Immediately report any amendments to the customs declaration forms to line manager and engage in comms with the nominated key account
As well as all the above, this role will include all the standard customs clearance duties.
Experience
We are looking for a Customs coordinator/customs clearance coordinator with working experience of Exports/Imports and Customs Compliance and regulations (at least 2 years). You will have Knowledge of customs requirements and formalities with particular focus on UK & EU imports. You will also ideally have Experience in road transport, logistics or haulage (Desirable but not essential). This company is also looking for candidates with working knowledge of the CDS system both Imports and Exports
