Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We work hard to enriching the lives of people with many different care needs. It’s exciting and rewarding work, and we’re full of pride and passion for what we do.

Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect. This resonates in our vision of ‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and our strategy ‘Best Lives Possible’.

We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over national and regional awards!

We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support and in return, we go the extra mile for them by investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

Are you an experienced Carer or Support Worker who loves going the extra mile to improve the lives of others?

Is it important for you to have a satisfying job where you feel supported?

If this sounds like you, maybe a Support Worker role with an award-winning charity is the change you’ve been looking for!

We are currently recruiting for Support Workers to support 6 individuals who live in their own brand-new, purpose-built bungalows in Tullibody. For some of the people we support, this is the first time living in their own homes, so they need patience and understanding while they continue to adjust to their new surroundings.

In the past, the people we support have faced a lot of challenges because of their learning disabilities, Autism, mental health issues and hearing/visual impairments but this hasn’t stopped them from enjoying life! They enjoy some of the same activities as each other, such as dancing, listening to music, spending time with friends and family and going out for tea and cake, but they also enjoy their own activities, including gardening, sports, cooking and baking, animals and going to parties.

Our staff team are very supportive and have experience from supporting others in the past. As well as the activities the people we support enjoy, our team also supports with:

• Medication
• Cooking
• Assisting with personal care
• Maintaining the homes and finances of the people we support

The current shift pattern here is from 8am – 8pm or overnight from 8pm – 8am, which helps the people we support to feel safe as they settle into their new homes.

We are currently recruiting for full-time roles (36 hours per week) and a part time role (24 hours), which will include some weekend work and waking night shifts.

A UK driving license isn't mandatory, but it would be a bonus!

Your values:

The people we support like to be supported by people who respect them and their homes, but who also like to have fun!

We like people who are reliable and honest, so the people we support can build trust and know that you have their best interests at heart.
