With a growing fleet and large customer base, they have developed a brand new workshop to maintain their fleet as well as offering vehicle maintenance and repair services to customers. Responsibilities of the Vehicle Technician / LCV Technician / HGV Technician / Van Technician / Mechanic / Workshop Technician / Light Commercial Vehicle Technician: * Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial vehicles, including tippers, vans, and HGVs. * Conduct routine servicing, inspections, and MOT preparations. * Carry out mechanical repairs on engines, gearboxes, brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems. * Work efficiently to minimize vehicle downtime and ensure all repairs meet safety standards. * Maintain accurate records of work carried out and parts used. * Work collaboratively with the workshop team and mobile mechanics. Requirements of the Vehicle Technician / LCV Technician / HGV Technician / Van Technician / Mechanic / Workshop Technician / Light Commercial Vehicle Technician: * Experience as a vehicle mechanic, ideally with commercial vehicles. * Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems. * Ability to diagnose faults using diagnostic tools. * NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent * Full UK driving license (HGV license is a bonus). * Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
