The Role
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial team in managing costs and contracts across residential projects. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with the preparation of cost estimates and tender documents
* Supporting the management of subcontractor relationships and payments
* Monitoring project budgets and ensuring cost control measures are in place
* Assisting with valuations, variations, and final accounts
* Providing general commercial support to the wider project team
This is an excellent chance to gain exposure to bespoke housing projects while working closely with experienced professionals who will help develop your skills.
The Person
We are looking for an ambitious individual who brings:
* A degree (or equivalent qualification) in Quantity Surveying or a related field
* Previous experience in a surveying role (placements or 1–2 years in industry desirable)
* Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
* Good communication skills and the ability to build relationships with colleagues and suppliers
* A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and development
