Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours (35 working hours with a paid lunch break)

At PayPlan, we believe in making life-changing debt advice accessible to everyone. As we scale up our digital transformation, we’re looking for a talented Digital Graphic Designer to join our growing Marketing team.
This role isn’t just about crafting engaging visuals – it’s about creating seamless, intuitive experiences for the people who need us most. You’ll help shape how clients engage with our brand online, from eye-catching campaigns to user-friendly journeys across our website and chat platforms.

What would you be doing as a Digital Graphic Designer here at Payplan?
1. Design and deliver engaging digital assets across multiple channels, including web, email, social, display and PPC campaigns
2. Support UX/UI projects, working closely with developers and the wider marketing team to enhance PayPlan on multiple platforms
3. Create and maintain a consistent visual identity across all digital touchpoints, in line with our tone of voice and accessibility standards
4. Work on landing page designs and contribute to wireframes/prototypes for web journeys
5. Collaborate with marketing, product and development teams to bring ideas to life – whether it’s a campaign concept or a site-wide refresh
6. Stay on top of design trends and emerging tech, bringing fresh thinking to how we engage users digitally
About you:
7. A creative problem-solver with a portfolio showcasing strong digital design and web work
8. Solid experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD/Figma) and a good grasp of responsive design principles
9. Knowledge of UX/UI best practices – you don’t need to be a UX designer, but you should know what makes a great web experience
10. Understanding of HTML/CSS (you won’t be coding, but knowing how your designs translate to web is a big plus)
11. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
12. A collaborative mindset – we’re a supportive team and we work closely across departments
It would be nice if you had:
13. Experience designing for accessibility (WCAG standards)
14. Animation/motion graphics skills (After Effects or similar)
15. Exposure to working with CMS platforms like WordPress or Umbraco
