In this role you will be responsible for:
1. Ensuring the business has and is adhering to all H&S requirements and all quality standards
2. Ensuring performance is achieved against deadlines/KPIs, highlighting any potential issues
3. Maintaining knowledge of all UK HSE legislation and industry standards
4. Support in the development & delivery of QHSE training for employees
5. Conducting Quality and HSE internal audits and inspections
6. Conducting incident investigations and raise and investigate internal non-conformances
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within the manufacturing or engineering sector, ideally from in a process driven production environment. You should have NEBOSH General certificate with 2-3 years H&S experience or be willing to work towards this and a Lead Auditor qualification. You should also have knowledge of relevant QHSE regulations and standards. Strong problem solving and data analysis skills are also essential and you must be able to read Technical Drawings
This role offers a salary £45,000 and is easily commutable from York, Malton, Pickering, Thirsk, Scarborough and surrounding areas
