Skills
As a team, we pride ourselves on challenging and developing our graduates with a rotation plan that provides exposure to a broad range of engineering disciplines across exciting projects in Formula 1 and Advanced Technology. During your time on the Graduate scheme, depending on your skills, you may spend time in some of the following departments:
* Electronics Engineering: Pushing the boundaries of electrical efficiency, designing new electronic concepts for powertrain control, high-power motor inverters, battery management systems, and DCDC converters. This includes integration of sensors onto the powertrain, investigating performance ideas, and collaborating closely with the mechanical team to optimize packaging electrically, thermally, and volumetrically.
* Test Engineering: Recreating the racetrack and race-car environment to make experiments as representative as possible. Engineering test rigs to push the components and systems of the Power Unit to their limits and validating underlying simulations.
