Job Summary
As Lead Wellbeing & Lifestyle Coordinator, you will plan and facilitate stimulating activities, promote independence and choice, and coordinate a successful activities and volunteer programme within Cinnamon Home.
Responsibilities
* Organise and conduct activities that encourage social, mental and appropriate physical stimulation for residents.
* Network and develop links within the local community to establish relationships with businesses, organisations and schools.
* Build and maintain a volunteer base involving family, staff and community volunteers.
* Organise fund‑raising events.
* Plan special events such as Christmas entertainment, Ascot trips, royal occasions, etc.
* Create a monthly programme of events to discuss with the General Manager.
* Encourage residents and team members to participate in the home’s activities programme.
* Maintain posters and notice boards.
Person Specification
* Medically able to carry out duties and responsibilities with or without assistive aids.
* Previous experience in a similar environment.
* Computer skills.
* Full, clean driving licence, aged over 21.
