Quantity Surveyor - Contract (Outside IR35)
Chester / Mold / North Wales
We're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of a large construction project within the energy sector. This is a site-based contract role, working closely with construction and project management teams to ensure accurate progress measurement, cost control, and subcontractor performance.
What you'll be doing
Managing quantities, progress tracking, and cost data across civils work packages
Maintaining BOQs and ensuring accurate valuation and certification of subcontractor works
Supporting variations, dayworks, and change management activities
Monitoring site labour and plant usage to support forecasting and reporting
Using project controls systems to provide reliable commercial and progress data
Assisting with risk identification, claims support, and commercial problem-solving
Supporting feasibility reviews and budget updates based on IFC drawingsWhat we're looking for
Proven Quantity Surveying experience on oil & gas and/or renewable energy projects
Strong civils and site-based construction background
Comfortable working in structured project environments with multiple stakeholdersWhat's on offer
Outside IR35 contract
Full-time, long-term assignment
