Primary SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a confident, reliable, and proactive Learning Support Assistant to join our team, dedicated to supporting young people who need structure, guidance, and consistency in a specialist education setting.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Work 1:1 and in small groups with students who struggle with behaviour, engagement, or find mainstream school environments challenging.
* Build strong, respectful, and consistent relationships with students.
* Keep students engaged and focused on their tasks.
* Support behaviour management in a firm but fair manner.
* Help young people develop essential life skills such as confidence and routine.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Calm under pressure with a confident approach to challenges.
* Strong communication skills and natural leadership qualities.
* Experience in sports, coaching, youth work, mentoring, security, or armed forces is advantageous but not essential.
* A genuine interest in the success and development of young people.
* Reliable and proactive, ready to make a significant impact.
* English and Mathematics grade C or equivalent.
