ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to the company continuing to grow and win more projects they are now looking for a Site Agent to join their team. The successful candidate will be involved in setting a personal example in health, safety, and environmental matters by ensuring compliance is in line with company policies and procedures, and personal safety tours. You will encourage repeat business by adopting a professional attitude with clients and stakeholders. The successful candidate will be managing a team of Sub Agents, Site Engineers, and operational staff so it’s business-critical you help manage and coach these staff and enhance their development, this is your opportunity to build and develop a team the way you think things should be done and a make a real difference.
The project you will be initially working on is £50M + project and you will be managing a £25M package. The types of works will be diverse and interesting, they will involve RC structures, steel frames, deep drainage, groundworks, major earthworks, and piling.
My client is looking to develop and build a long-term team that is commutable throughout the M4 corridor, this will offer some really good long-term opportunities to grow with the team and progress into a Project Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Civil Engineering Qualification – Degree level or equivalent.
2. Working as Site Agent for a UK-based Tier One Main Contractor, working on infrastructure projects is essential.
3. Ideally, I will need someone with at least 10 years experience working for a UK-based tier 1 contractor.
