We are looking for graduates for our Asset Management and Analysis team within Energy, who have a flexible approach and an appetite to learn in a leading Engineering and Professional Advisory services consultancy. We want you to enjoy working in a collaborative environment where you can apply your skills working for a diverse range of clients and projects.
We are recruiting for Graduates in the following services and locations:
* Power Systems (MEng Electrical Engineering only): Newcastle, Manchester or Glasgow
A little bit more about your role and the team…
Working as a Graduate in Asset Management and Analysis will mean working on exciting and innovative projects. This service line is composed of the Power Systems Consulting and Energy Strategy Consulting teams delivering services to our national and international clients and is comprised of circa 50 colleagues with a range of engineering and multidisciplinary skills.
Projects
* Asset Life extension projects
* Reliability modelling
* Audit and site inspections
* Stability analysis for low carbon technologies connections
* Harmonic studies for large solar PV and battery energy storage systems
* Technical support for grid code compliance testing
* Network innovation projects
Day-to-day activities could include:
* Supporting the delivery of power system studies (load flow, fault level, stability, harmonics).
* Assisting with grid connection support for renewable and storage developers.
* Contributing to technical reports and client presentations.
* Helping with project proposals and bid documents.
* Learning to use specialist power system software (e.g. DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSS/E, ETAP, PSCAD).
* Participating in multi-disciplinary project teams across the UK and internationally.
* Supporting stakeholder engagement and client meetings.
* Keeping up to date with emerging energy technologies and regulations.
Graduate Development Programme
Our two-year Graduate Development programme is designed to support personal and professional development and growth through an engaging blended learning experience. The programmes include core business and professional skills training, career development workshops and resources, valuable networking opportunities, mentoring for professional registration and a breadth of on-the-job experience.
What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate
* You’ve graduated with at least a 2:2 in Electrical Engineering (Master’s).
* Candidates must complete the application form in full answering all specific questions and the online skill enabler assessment.
* You’ll be looking to start work in either April or September 2026.
* You have a passion for Engineering, a desire for engineering, infrastructure and digital tools, an enthusiasm for creativity and a drive to solve problems.
