Job Description
* Provide comprehensive HR advice to managers and staff
* Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
* Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues
* Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations when required
* Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships and increase productivity and retention
* Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
* Identify training needs for teams and individuals
* Ensure compliance with all HR legal and regulatory requirements
The Successful Applicant
A successful HR Advisor should have:
* An HR qualification or equivalent
* Experience in a similar HR role, ideally within the retail sector
* Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures and best practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions
