* What skills and experience we're looking for
* Experience of working with children, young people and their families
* Experience of undertaking and leading family assessments and coordinating services to meet identified need
* Experience of working within an education setting
* Experience of creating and or coordinating multiple agency responses eg early help assessment
* Grade C equivalent in Maths and English
* Up to date training in Safeguarding procedures
* A level 3 qualification relevant to the field of working with children and or families
* Demonstrate knowledge of relevant national legislation
* Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding procedures and how/when to implement
* Excellent communication and time-management and administrative skills
* A willingness to support the Christian ethos of the school
* Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with students, families and external agencies
* Knowledge of the services available to support families through the local offer
* Knowledge of the education system and the everyday function of a school
* Knowledge of key government policies eg ‘Working Together to Improve Attendance’
* Knowledge of the Early Help Assessment Framework and process.
* Demonstrate a commitment to equal opportunities
