Role Overview:
As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs of your pupils. You will foster a positive classroom environment, manage behaviour effectively, and support each child’s academic and personal growth.
Responsibilities as a Primary Teacher:
Plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Adapt teaching to meet the varying needs of pupils.
Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
Use assessment tools to monitor progress and inform teaching.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff.
Encourage curiosity, creativity, and independent learning.
Requirements for the Primary Teacher role:
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience teaching in a UK primary school setting (EYFS, KS1, or KS2).
Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
A nurturing, engaging, and resilient approach to teaching.
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment over the last 10 years.
