Senior defined benefit pensions administrator
My client is a leading pensions firm that is currently recruiting for a number of defined benefit pension administrators across all levels, including senior and principal. The role is hybrid, based in Edinburgh or Glasgow, and involves managing a portfolio of DB schemes while working at the forefront of the team. You will also have the scope to develop within other teams to trustee and consulting.
The successful applicant will be key to the team, also managing their own set of DB/DC schemes. Previous technical experience in defined benefit/final salary pensions and client management within pensions is essential. Professional qualification progress such as PMI is desirable but not required.
You will be working with clients who have a mixture of defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes. Technical knowledge of cradle to grave pensions administration is required, as are a thorough understanding of scheme rules, current legislation and project management. Your work will include some client‑facing duties as your experience increases.
