Woodgreen requires support in analysing their 25 Charity Shop commercial leases to establish and understand their full maintenance, building repair obligations as the tenant and service charge inclusive sections.
Whilst they have a handling on break clauses, rental values etc, they require support in understanding the language used around maintenance. The shops are key for raising much needed funds for the charity and multiple areas of required repair have been identified. Before this is budgeted, support is required in reading each lease. While much repair is the responsibility of tenants, some large repairs to electrics, roofs, windows etc are required. Woodgreen aims to improve working conditions for their teams and volunteers.
