Pastoral Support Opportunity – Cannock
TeacherActive is working in partnership with a secondary school in the Cannock area to recruit an experienced pastoral support professional to join their student support team.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people, promoting positive behaviour, and helping students overcome barriers to learning.
You will play a key role in safeguarding, attendance, behaviour support and day-to-day pastoral care, working closely with senior leaders, teaching staff and external agencies.
The successful candidate will:
Have previous experience working in a pastoral, inclusion or student support role within a secondary school or similar setting
Be confident supporting students with behavioural, emotional and social needs
Have strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
Be calm, resilient and able to manage challenging situations professionally
Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)
