Job Description
3. Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and operational targets.
4. Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
5. Monitor and adjust plans to address changes in demand or production capacity.
6. Track inventory levels and ensure optimal stock control practices.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve scheduling conflicts.
8. Generate reports and provide updates on planning activities to stakeholders.
9. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the planning function.
10. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Planner should have:
11. Experience in production planning, procurement, or supply chain within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
12. Strong organisational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
13. Proficiency in planning software or ERP systems.
14. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
15. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
16. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
What's on Offer
17. Hourly pay rate of approximately £14.40 to £17.60, based on experience.
18. 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, pro-rated for the temporary contract.
