SEN Teacher
£33,075 - £50,471 per annum (teachers pay scale + SEN allowance)
Permanent, full-time
September 2025 or sooner
Are you looking to move on from mainstream education with a role thats tailored to meet the needs of each individual with special educational needs?
We are seeking two passionate and enthusiastic Teachers to join our independent specialist School from September 2025. It is an exciting time to join St Elizabeths School as we grow our offer and increase our admissions for 2025 and beyond. You will become part of a dedicated and friendly team of staff, committed to providing the very best in special education.
St Elizabeth's School supports and educates young people aged 5 -16 years with moderate, severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties or with other complex neurological conditions potentially caused or complicated by Epilepsy.
In this exciting role you will;
* work as part of a specialist team to lead class groups of up to 8 pupils in all aspects of the curriculum
* prepare and deliver inspirational and creative lessons that follow one of our 3 pathways
* deliver highly effective teaching, learning and assessment and make a broader positive contribution to school life
* promote a love of learning and enable our pupils to make progress towards positive academic and EHCP outcomes
* work closely with our dedicated 1-1 learning support staff and multidisciplinary teams with access to Speech and Language, Physio, Occupational Therapy, and Positive Behaviour provisions as well as specialist nursing support on site!

Wed love to hear from you if;
* you have qualified teacher status in the UK
* you are passionate about helping children and young people reach their full potential
* you have experience working with SEN learners between the ages of 5-19
* you have excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing
* you are able to think creatively and engage positively with learners with a broad range of complex needs
