Job Description
The Hospital Engagement Co-ordinator at Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity plays an important role in helping children, families and hospital staff to have supportive and meaningful experiences at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow and all associated sites.
This role focuses on creating positive experiences for hospital staff, patients and families. You will plan, co-ordinate and deliver a range of engagement activity, including events, activities and conferences, that help build strong connections across the hospital community and enhance everyday experiences within the hospital.
Working closely with the Charity Impact Team and NHS colleagues, you will help create special moments for young patients, their families and NHS heroes supported by the charity. The ideal candidate will bring strong organisational and event coordination skills, alongside creativity, flexibility and the ability to work well with a wide range of people.
Key Responsibilities
1. Work with the Charity Impact Team to create a calendar of Awareness Days marked at the RHC and all other associate sites. Coordinate and collaborate with the relevant NHS teams to help deliver these events on time and within budget.
