Your Job
As an Assembler, you will build filters and other interconnect products to customer specifications. This role supports production by assembling mechanical and electrical components using detailed work instructions, drawings, and required tools while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and workmanship.

What You Will Do
Level One:
1. Read and follow work instructions, production drawings, sample assemblies, or verbal instructions
2. Position and align parts in jigs or fixtures as required
3. Use soldering irons to solder small parts and components
4. Solder capacitors, air wounds, printed circuit boards, ceramic resonators, and component leads per work instructions and Build Book requirements
5. Use parts cleaners as required
6. Assemble parts using small hand tools such as electric or manual screwdrivers
7. Perform in‑process inspections to ensure assemblies meet specifications and quality standards
8. Complete assigned tasks with a high level of quality within established timeframes
Level Two:
9. Perform all Level One responsibilities
10. Assemble prototypes as assigned
11. Assemble complex mechanical and electrical assemblies
12. Provide basic troubleshooting for assembly‑related issues
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Level One:
13. Ability to read drawings, schematics, and process instructions
14. Ability to use mechanical inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, pin gages, thread gages, and microscopes
15. Ability to obtain and maintain IPC A610‑E and J‑STD certification
16. Ability to assemble parts using various solder types with hot plates and soldering irons, with or without microscopes
17. Ability to perform basic mechanical assembly
18. Ability to use hand tools to complete assigned tasks
19. Ability to identify process issues
20. Willingness and ability to learn and apply information quickly
21. Effective communication skills
22. Ability to work collaboratively to achieve team goals
23. Ability to follow all company policies, procedures, and work instructions

Level Two:
24. Ability to perform all Level One functions independently
25. Experience training or mentoring Level One Assemblers
26. Ability to identify and solve basic production problems
27. Demonstrated superior manufacturing workmanship
28. Advanced hand‑soldering skills
29. Ability to communicate workflow status when required
