Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Chef to manage reports, assist with forecasts, budgets, policies, and future planning, including policy changes or innovations. The role involves creating menus that offer variety and motivate the team to take pride in every meal prepared for our customers.
You should be capable of establishing targets, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are met, and policies and procedures are up to date and adhered to. You will manage the P&L account for catering, assist with the preparation of the Annual Budget, and maintain food costs within our standards.
Ensure that company and statutory regulations pertaining to the safe and hygienic operation of the kitchen and ancillary areas are followed by all staff. Manage all Food and Beverage operations daily within budget and to the highest standards.
You will have daily interactions with clients, leadership teams, operational management, and catering staff. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential at all levels of the business and with external parties. Creativity and innovation to capitalize on sales opportunities are also important.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience as a Chef Manager in a similar environment and HACCP experience. Relevant qualifications include Level 3 Food Safety certification, NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or equivalent, with training in Food Safety, Health & Safety, and COSHH regulations.
