Role Summary
United Learning offers a range of services for schools, and the teachers and support staff who work in them. Due to continuing growth, we are now recruiting a Graphic Designer to join our Marketing and Communications Team. Reporting to the Lead Graphic Designer you will work on the creation and delivery of a range of deliverables for both print and digital collateral to support the wider marketing objectives of United Learning, and for our schools across the country.
You will work as part of a team on larger group-wide projects and independently on day-to-day projects, so it’s vital that you are a good communicator with a genuine passion for excellent design. We act as brand guardians within the Marketing and Communications Team, so knowledge of working with and adhering to brand guidelines is essential.
This is a flexible role. We offer hybrid working with attendance at our Peterborough office one day a week, or we can consider remote working with attendance at the Peterborough or London office six times per year.
This is a part-time role, working the equivalent of three days a week. The working pattern will be agreed with the successful candidate.
Responsibilities
The Graphic Designer’s main responsibilities are:
* To action creative briefs from schools and United Learning in line with deadlines and brand guidelines;
* To support the Lead Graphic Designer and marketing team in developing high quality designs for digital and print;
* Creating final print-ready artwork and liaising with suppliers when required;
* Creation of new school logos in line with our brand identity;
* Creation of info graphics and icons;
* Maintaining and updating internal systems, including our image bank;
* To foster a collaborative relationship with schools and other service teams at United Learning.
