About the Role: Sous Chef
We are passionate about real cooking—focusing on fresh, high-quality ingredients, and customer-led dining experiences. As a Sous Chef, you will be the support pillar for the Head Chef, leading and engaging the kitchen team to deliver excellent service across 14 shifts weekly.
Your responsibilities include leading shifts, ensuring the kitchen operates effectively and safely, managing stocks, health & safety, hygiene standards, and maintaining 5-star kitchen standards. You will be proactive in ensuring food quality and timeliness, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.

What You Bring
* Experience as a Sous Chef or similar role, eager to advance your career
* Proficiency with fresh ingredients and solid kitchen skills (food prep, hygiene, knife skills)
* Leadership qualities, proactive in delivering high standards
* Driven and persistent in overcoming challenges
* Understanding of KPIs, decision-making in the absence of the Head Chef regarding labour, stock, and safety
* Excellent communication skills to manage stakeholders and build trust
* Knowledge of rota scheduling, sales, labour forecasting, and HR practices
* Experience in training and recruiting kitchen staff, including apprentices and junior chefs
