In this role, you will work with young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them access the curriculum, build confidence, and develop essential skills in a calm, structured environment. Your expertise in Maths will enable pupils to engage with learning in a way that is accessible, meaningful, and motivating. About the Role This long-term opportunity is ideal for a teacher who is patient, adaptable, and resilient. You will work with Key Stage 3 pupils, many of whom have additional needs including ASD, learning difficulties, and SEMH. You will help pupils achieve academic success while supporting their social and emotional development. You will be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, working alongside teaching assistants and specialist staff, in a well-resourced environment that values staff wellbeing, professional growth, and innovation in teaching.
