A great opportunity has arisen for a project manager / estimator to join a well-established company with a strong track record in delivering high-quality commercial and residential joinery and fit-out projects across the UK and Europe.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role combines project management with estimating responsibilities and requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare estimates and quotations for site and contract work, including manufactured joinery when required.
2. Manage 2–4 projects concurrently, acting as the primary point of contact for clients.
3. Source and coordinate subcontractors for services such as flooring, plastering, and plumbing.
4. Oversee all commercial aspects of projects, including the creation and management of accurate project programmes.
5. Produce and issue detailed monthly progress reports to clients.
6. Manage projects from initial enquiry through to handover and final accounts.
7. Build and maintain strong client relationships.
8. Develop and implement health and safety plans, ensuring all risk controls are in place.
