Our client is a national developer/contractor undertaking major new build residential & mixed-use schemes across the country. Projects are generally high-rise towers/frames with retail & commercial space at ground & 1st floor levels and residential apartments above.
The need now exists for a Quality Assurance Advisor to join the team in Southall, West London.
Role and Responsibilities
The role of the Quality Assurance Advisor is to work with the Quality Assurance Manager and production teams to provide a Quality support function by carrying out the following duties. It is expected that the individual has a reasonable level of build experience covering all cycles of the process.
Monitor Project Quality Plans and their appendices and assist Project Managers with ensuring these plans are reviewed in accordance with company procedures.
Review and comment on the contractors Trade Plans and Inspection and Test Plans ensuring required compliance.
Monitor Non-Conformance Registers and Report accordingly.
Become familiar with the Field Inspection App (Fieldview) and provide relevant required training and support to the managers and contractors.
Carry out Field Inspection App (Fieldview) Administration tasks such as creating new packages for contractors and assigning new users.
Create and distribute required weekly and monthly (Fieldview) reports outlining the current status of QA inspections and progress
Produce and distribute monthly divisional and PLC Board reports whilst ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.
Collate relevant information and produce and distribute month-end KPI reports
Provide monthly Quality Assurance information for all monthly Project Review Meetings and populate the related PowerPoint presentation.
Monitor training progress of production teams and report accordingly.
Produce and distribute Quality Assurance Bulletins.
Ensure Warranty Provider and Building Control visits are logged accurately.
Ensure Warranty Provider and Building Control reportable items are tracked accurately and addressed promptly.
Carry out site inspections (Supported by QA Manager) as required.Must be:
Well presented, professional punctual and prepared
Good eye for detail.
Driven and committed to deliver a safe quality product on time and within budget
Team player who understands the whole construction cycle
IT literate including Word, Excel and Power Point and have the ability to learn and adapt to new systems
Must be enthusiastic and 100% committed to achieving targets and deadlines
Understands how to use Fieldview. In return, our client is offering anything between £40k - £50k + package
