UK Technology Manager - Data Centres – London. This role is with CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS).

Key Responsibilities
 * Complete and assist the UK Technology Director with new or existing technology sales, technology project surveys, estimations, quotations and project/support delivery.
 * Assist the UK Technology Director with technology solutions, designs and implementation; provide technology operational support.
 * Provide high level technology guidance and support for all CBRE-T&T/CBRE DCS UK Divisions (Engineering & Management teams) for design, implementation and updating/upgrading software or hardware platforms; provide general technology support for all supported customer and CBRE technology systems.
 * Manage several customer project/support works concurrently (directly and indirectly).
 * Assist with technology management and relevant compliance governance for CBRE-T&T/CBRE/CBRE Supported Customers across all UK CBRE DCS Business Units.
 * Be the initial 1st point of escalation/contact for technology support and information for CBRE T&T/CBRE Senior Stakeholders and local customer site management teams.
 * Provide technology support and management for customer platforms and networks; contribute to innovations and improved customer operational solutions via project delivery.
 * Assist with managing technology related new contract transitions as required.
 * Complete and assist with technology compliance, project/support documentation (pre/post project delivery) using CBRE-T&T/CBRE platforms; training will be provided where required.
 * Work to aggressive deadlines for CBRE-T&T/CBRE customers and internal teams; ensure project delivery timelines are met.
 * Continuously triage and risk assess multiple work streams/tasks across the business.
 * Facilitate hands-on component level technology support for CBRE-T&T/CBRE staff and customers during technology incidents.
 * Understand technology networks design and functionality from cabling and hardware levels.
 * Knowledge of Windows Server and Windows 10/11; proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
 * Create, review, update and approve technology project/operational documentation.
 * Experience in Data Centre environments (minimum 2 years).
 * Understand/adhere to compliance standards (ISO27001, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO50001, ISO20000) when completing project work.
 * Experience delivering Security Technology projects (CCTV, Access Control, Intercom, PIDS, IDS installations and upgrades).
 * Experience with Technology Lifecycle support including RMA/ITAD processes.
 * Assist with technology vendor management and creating customer proposals; complete risk analyses and management reports; develop technology processes and procedures.
 * Coordinate internal and customer technology meetings; maintain awareness of M&E processes in a DC environment; apply ITIL v4 practices.
 * Support cyber security and information security risk analysis for CBRE-T&T/CBRE staff and customers.
 * Continuously develop knowledge of current technology and cyber trends to support customers.
Requirements (High Level)
 * Minimum 2 years of experience in a Data Centre environment
 * Minimum 1 year of Technology Projects/Operations/Service Management experience
 * Hands-on understanding of technology hardware and infrastructure to component level
 * Hands-on understanding of network infrastructure to component level
 * Broad understanding of current technology products; ability to keep up with new technology
 * Technology Project Management experience
 * Awareness of M&E plant equipment in a DC environment (high level)
 * Willingness to travel across the UK (sometimes at short notice) and to work away from home overnight as required
 * Own or access to a legally registered/roadworthy vehicle; valid UK driving licence with no more than 3 points
 * Ability to start work at agreed times; physically able to lift up to 25 kg
Candidate Experience
 * Desirable: several years in a technology environment supporting DC or office environments; basic knowledge of CCTV/Access Control and security technology
 * Industry-recognised certifications (examples include CNIDP, CDCTP, CCNA, MCSE, MCSA, MCP, ComptTIA A+/N+, ITIL V3, PMP, Prince2); not mandatory if demonstrated via CV and interview
