Levelling up premium payment: This role may be eligible for a special levelling up premium payment. If you’re within your first 5 years of teaching, or just starting out, you could claim between £2000 and £6000 extra.
Role Overview
The Trafford and Stockport College Group (TSCG) has an opportunity for an experienced Barbering lecturer to join the Hair and Beauty department to help us achieve our vision of unlocking potential for successful futures.
Responsibilities
* Primarily you will be working with Adult learners to develop Barbering skills that lead to a formal qualification, with room to expand the role in department.
* Provide learning support for the Hair and Beauty department.
* Deliver high quality, learner‑focused education, providing a quality learning experience for our students.
* Develop the curriculum and implement teaching and learning strategies that enable students to succeed and thrive in their chosen subject area.
About You
* Conversant and comfortable with computer systems, especially Microsoft software.
* Strong team player who can communicate well, demonstrate respect for peers, and be supportive in a busy environment.
* Strong, resilient character with a “can‑do” approach to challenges.
