Advanced/Enhanced Clinical Practitioner (Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin)
Further to recent organisational growth, we have an exciting opportunity for independent, autonomous Prescribing Clinicians to support our Urgent Care service within the out-of-hours (OOH) period, both during the week and on weekends, to join our forward-thinking team in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin.
Based in our Telford Headquarters, as an Independent, autonomous Prescribing Clinician, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe and timely care to those accessing our Integrated Urgent Care Service, providing a variety of shift opportunities to include:
Our service coordinates health and care services for patients and, where clinically appropriate, utilises alternative pathways to emergency admission. We will commence our Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin services on 1st October 2025. These include GP Out of Hours and Care Coordination Services.
Our Clinical Practitioners provide care through the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge or referral of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed injury/illness, or acute exacerbation of existing conditions. You will assist in the development of an integrated approach to the delivery of patient care across the ‘whole system' of health and social care, working in partnership with all relevant stakeholders.

Note: The support of a senior clinician is available remotely during shifts.
You will be a registered nurse, paramedic, or other allied health professional, with a non-medical prescribing qualification in the context of a broad scope of practice.
