A reputable and supportive business based in Hunmanby is currently seeking a Temporary Accounts Assistant to join their team with an immediate start. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a fast-paced finance environment, offering an hourly rate of £13.00 – £14.00 per hour, depending on experience.
As a Temporary Accounts Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
* Processing purchase and sales invoices accurately and efficiently
* Handling bank reconciliations and maintaining ledgers
* Assisting with supplier payments and resolving any related queries
* Supporting the finance team with month-end procedures
* Managing petty cash and staff expenses
* Providing general administrative support to the finance function
To be successful in this Accounts Assistant role, you will ideally have:
* Previous experience in a similar finance/accounts role
* Confidence using accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or similar
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines
* A proactive and flexible attitude to support the wider team
* Availability to start immediately and commit to a temporary assignment
This role is easily commutable from Scarborough, Bridlington, Filey, Driffield, and Malton, and surrounding villages. The office offers free on-site parking and is also accessible via public transport.
