The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Sunderland, who are a well-known, national company. They have an immediate requirement for aHGV C+E/C Hiabdriver on a temporary to permanent basis.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Safely drive and operate HGV HIAB vehicles
* Deliver & collect modular buildings and containers from customer sites
* Operate the Hiab crane for loading and unloading
* Ensure compliance with road safety regulations
* Complete delivery/collection paperwork accurately
* Provide excellent customer service to customers
* Report vehicle defects
* Collaborate with team members for smooth operations
* Represent the company professionally at all times
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
* Must have a HGV Class 1 or 2 Driver Licence
* Qualified lorry loader operator (CSCS/ALLMI) Essential
* ALLMI Lorry loader D1+E unlimited preferred Training upgrade considered for the right candidate.
* Slinger and signaller experience.
* Good understanding and knowledge of current regulations with regards to EU driver hours, Working Time Directive and Drivers Tachograph restrictions.
