Job Description:

SUMMARY

The Manager, EMEA QHSE & Audit Services supports Avetta clients and contractor/supplier members throughout the pre-qualification and audit process through review, verification, and coaching of HSE Programs, Procedures, and Requirements.

The Manager, EMEA QHSE & Audit Services works under the supervision of the Director, QHSE & Audit Services and is assigned as a dedicated QHSE & Assessment Services resource for client and contractor/supplier members of Avetta.

This role will be required to travel to our Maidenhead office 1-3 times per week, depending on location.

Please note: this role requires full working rights in England without current or future sponsorship.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* The Manager, EMEA QHSE & Audit Services will be critical in the development and delivery of the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Audit strategy across the EMEA region
* Ability to manage a diverse Region of QHSE Leads, Professionals and Associates to assure execution and success of Avetta/QHSE Goals and Objectives.
* Provide leadership, guidance, training and corrective action to support growth and development of assigned QHSE Leads, Professionals and Associates
* Engage, Coach and Monitor the quality and performance of Assigned QHSE Leads, Professionals and Associates
* Handle Client or Supplier Escalations and de-escalate in a timely manner
* Support and assist in improvements and development of Audit/Assessment products to ensure efficiency, scalability and profitability
* Manage and conduct based on workflow Manual, Implementation, & Field HSE Audits/Assessments where a review of a company’s HSE manual, training documentation, or field execution of protocols are evaluated to identify gaps/deficiencies
* Apply general risk and hazard assessment methodology across a variety of industries that Avetta will service (e.g., Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Industrial, Communications, Facilities, Construction, Mining, Aviation, Transportation, Marine/Maritime Operations, and Rail)
* Ability to coach contractor/supplier with policies/procedures gaps or deficiencies in accordance with regulatory requirements using our C.A.R.E.S. approach.
* Respond promptly to customer inquiries using our C.A.R.E.S. approach.
* Handle and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
* Ability to apply expertise in evaluating safety exposure and hazard verifications
* Record and resolve inquiries, comments, complaints and actions taken (Close the Loop)
* Communicate and coordinate with internal departments and leadership
* Follow up on customer interactions to ensure C.A.R.E.S. was provided and effective
* MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
* Travel associated with this position can be expected between 25-30% depending on Client Demand/Departmental needs

* Enforce adherence to policies and audit protocols, ensuring compliance and operational integrity.
* Facilitate weekly team meetings to track progress and ensure achievement of monthly production and quality objectives.
* Utilize Salesforce to prepare insightful reports and dashboards that identify production efficiency and performance trends.
* Provide regular updates on regional successes, challenges, support needs, and opportunities for improvement to stakeholders.

IDEAL EDUCATION, TRAINING, and EXPERIENCE:

* NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent certification.
* Chartered Member of IOSH or actively working towards Chartered Membership.
* Proven ability to motivate team members to achieve production and safety goals.
* In-depth knowledge of OHS regulatory frameworks across the UK, EU, Middle East, and Africa, including relevant industry agencies and authorities (e.g., HSE, EU-OSHA, BuildUK, SSIP).
* Extensive industry and field experience in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices.
* Strong experience in HSE auditing and compliance assessment.
* Proficient in learning and utilizing online software systems for operational efficiency.
* Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Outstanding professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Bilingual proficiency is a plus, enhancing communication across diverse teams.
* Proficient in PC applications, particularly Windows and related software.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills for cultivating strong relationships with team members and clients.
* Strong analytical abilities for identifying and resolving complex challenges.
* Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring precision in all operational processes.
* Demonstrated adaptability to navigate evolving business needs and environments.
* Highly self-motivated, with a proactive approach to achieving results.
* Knowledgeable in sales, customer service, and business development to integrate concepts effectively.
* Capable of conceptual thinking and understanding other key areas of the organization.
* Effective communicator, able to convey information clearly in both individual and group settings.
* Proven leadership skills, providing guidance and support to staff.
* Proficient in reading and interpreting financial and statistical data.
* Ability to interact positively with colleagues, stakeholders, and clients in daily operations.
* Quick learner, capable of acquiring and applying new skills and information.
* Resilient under pressure, able to meet tight deadlines effectively.
